Data Migration Consultant

About the role

Picture More is seeking a Data Migration Consultant to join its Professional Services team. You will work directly with leading UK and international law firms to migrate and transform data across a range of legal technology platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver end‑to‑end technical implementation and migration projects from discovery through go‑live.
• Analyse legacy SQL databases and application structures to define source‑to‑target data mappings.
• Design, build and execute SQL migration scripts and support ETL processes.
• Perform data conversion, transformation, cleansing and validation activities.
• Configure legal software solutions and support integrations with business systems.
• Produce technical documentation, migration plans and implementation guides.
• Troubleshoot migration and implementation issues throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server and SQL scripting.
• Proven ability to design data mapping specifications and execute data migrations.
• Hands‑on experience with ETL processes and data transformation.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑facing attitude.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
