Data Platform Architect

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing consultancy serving major brands, is looking for a Data Platform Architect to join a hands‑on delivery team. The role focuses on building and operating a modern data platform rather than designing high‑level diagrams, and will work directly on client sites in London.

Key responsibilities

• Provision and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS using Infrastructure as Code.
• Develop and maintain event‑driven pipelines with Kafka.
• Write production‑grade Python code for data processing and platform services.
• Deploy, test and promote platform components across development, staging and production environments.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to ensure platform meets functional and performance requirements.

Required profile

• Several years of experience as a data/platform architect in consultancy or consumer‑focused organisations.
• Hands‑on mindset with a proven track record of delivering cloud‑native solutions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships on‑site.
• Legal right to work in the United Kingdom (no sponsorship).
