Data Privacy Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Data Privacy Analyst to lead the technical implementation of a global privacy strategy for a leading network security consultancy. The role is remote‑based in the UK and will run for an initial 12‑month contract, focusing on embedding “Privacy by Design” across the customer journey.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and roll out a comprehensive Data Ring‑Fencing control framework.
• Define and enforce logical and physical separation protocols for high‑sensitivity data (PII, PCI, IP).
• Establish secure “Data Clean Rooms” and sharing pathways for privacy‑preserving analysis.
• Oversee micro‑segmentation, Identity & Access Management (IAM) and granular access controls.
• Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to embed automated privacy controls into system architecture and CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement de‑identification techniques such as salting, hashing, tokenisation and differential privacy.
• Chair a Ring‑Fencing Governance Board and prepare audit artefacts for SOC 2, ISO 27001 and other certifications.
• Maintain a Control Rationale registry and deliver role‑specific training for developers and data scientists.

Required profile

• Proven experience in privacy‑preserving technologies and data protection frameworks.
• Deep knowledge of GDPR, CCPA/CPRA and emerging data‑sovereignty regulations.
• Ability to translate legal requirements into technical implementations.
• Strong communication skills to act as a bridge between legal, security and engineering teams.
