Data Product Manager – Birmingham

About the role

We are looking for a Data Product Manager to join our Birmingham office on a full‑time, permanent basis. You will lead a team of data professionals to design, build and maintain a portfolio of data products that serve both human users and AI agents across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Define and manage the full lifecycle and roadmap of certified data products, including datasets, semantic models, dashboards, data stories, AI‑enabled features, business glossaries, catalogues and analytics applications.
• Ensure each data product is documented, versioned and specified to an agent‑consumable standard.
• Translate diverse business requirements into clear product specifications, manage intake processes, refine backlogs and prioritise reporting and analytics requests.
• Lead the Data and Insight Team by setting objectives, coordinating workloads and fostering delivery capability.
• Oversee user delivery platforms and tools to enable teams and trusted partners to leverage data as a strategic asset.

Required profile

• Proven experience deploying and driving adoption of enterprise analytics tools such as Power BI/Fabric, Tableau, Looker or Qlik.
• Hands‑on experience with AI tools and agents in an analytical context, understanding data quality tiers, semantic definitions and lineage.
• Strong analytical mindset combined with deep product‑management knowledge, able to convert business needs into intuitive applications.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for cross‑functional collaboration and team development.
• Experience managing intake processes, backlog refinement and prioritisation of reporting requests.
