Data Product Manager – OpenData Europe

About the role

Veeva Systems is a mission‑driven SaaS leader in the life‑sciences industry, operating as a public benefit corporation. The OpenData Europe team aims to become the global reference‑data leader for pharma and biotech companies, providing the foundational data that powers commercial and medical operations. This fully remote role will own the product roadmap, drive strategy, and deliver high‑quality data solutions across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end product plan, scaling customer footprint and defining strategy.
• Architect data sourcing, transformation, and update processes for country datasets.
• Translate market needs into road‑maps for squads of data engineers, analysts, and product operations.
• Identify and apply AI and automation opportunities to build scalable, high‑quality pipelines.
• Partner with sales, strategy, and services teams to gather feedback and iterate rapidly.
• Set and enforce KPIs for data coverage, completeness, and accuracy.
• Monitor healthcare regulations and market shifts, adapting the roadmap to maintain competitive advantage.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented professional who balances speed with quality.
• 2+ years of experience in data analytics or product management with a proven record of extracting value from complex datasets.
• Strong product intuition and ability to prioritize backlogs against quality standards and customer input.
• Proficient in SQL for direct data investigation and prototyping.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Physics.
• Fluent English (C1 or higher) to communicate with global stakeholders.
