Data Product Manager – £57,000 per annum

About the role

The Money and Pensions Service (MaPS) is looking for a Data Product Manager to lead the creation of data‑driven products that support evidence‑based decision making across the organisation. Working in a hybrid setting, you will partner with Digital, Data & Analytics, Engineering, Customer Services and Business teams to turn raw data into actionable insights and visualisations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the iterative development of data products aligned with user needs and organisational goals.
• Collaborate with BI analysts, UI/UX designers, delivery managers and engineers to enhance product usability and accessibility.
• Engage with a wide range of stakeholders, translating technical concepts into clear business language.
• Define and manage data domains, champion robust data models and embed governance standards from the outset.
• Ensure compliance with legal, privacy and data‑governance requirements throughout the product lifecycle.

Required profile

• Proven experience in product management within data, analytics or related technology environments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in ambiguous, fast‑paced settings.
• Demonstrated ability to bridge business and technical teams to deliver high‑quality data solutions.
