Data Reconciliation Assistant

About the role

The Data Reconciliation Assistant will work on a three‑month fixed‑term contract in Dundee, supporting the validation and reconciliation of MSS data reports. You will help ensure that records are accurate, complete, and compliant with internal audit standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the reconciliation of MSS data reports to guarantee accuracy and consistency.
• Organise and maintain electronic folders and related documentation.
• Upload, hyperlink and map supporting files to relevant spreadsheets and trackers.
• Review existing documentation, flagging missing or incomplete information.
• Support data validation and document‑checking activities in line with compliance requirements.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, suppliers, customers and customs brokers to obtain or verify documentation.
• Draft Letters of Authority and other formal correspondence as needed.
• Monitor outstanding requests, follow up proactively and escalate delays.
• Maintain accurate records of communications, actions taken and status updates.
• Provide regular progress updates and highlight any risks or issues to management.
