Data Science Lead

About the role

The Data Science Lead will drive technical direction across machine‑learning, cloud, data engineering, DevOps and software engineering teams. You will act as the primary contact for customers, shaping engagements and ensuring successful delivery of complex, high‑impact projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead customer engagements and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Contribute to technical bids, proposals and solution design.
• Collaborate with Delivery Management to ensure project execution.
• Apply hands‑on data science techniques to develop models and pipelines.
• Work on technically challenging projects at the cutting edge of the industry.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience building and designing scalable data platforms.
• Strong background in data visualisation and data extraction techniques.
• Expertise in machine learning and advanced analytics.
• Proficiency in Python, Java or C++.
• Experience with DevOps practices and cloud technologies.
• Agile methodology experience and demonstrated team leadership.
• Excellent stakeholder and customer engagement skills.
