Data Science Manager

About the role

Monzo is looking for a Data Science Manager to lead a high‑performing team of Data Scientists and other data professionals. You will partner closely with product, engineering, and senior leaders to embed data‑driven decision‑making across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and grow a team of Data Scientists, fostering a culture of analytical excellence.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to define data strategy and prioritize high‑impact problems.
• Ensure insights are translated into actionable product decisions and measurable outcomes.
• Drive the adoption of self‑serve analytics tools and promote data literacy across the organisation.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading data science teams in a fast‑moving product environment.
• Strong communication skills to influence senior stakeholders.
• Ability to balance strategic vision with hands‑on technical guidance.
