Data Scientist (All Levels) – UK Wide

About the role

We are seeking Data Scientists at any seniority to join UK‑based teams, working on insight‑driven projects that turn messy real‑world data into actionable predictions. The role involves the full data‑science lifecycle, from problem framing and exploratory analysis to modelling, experimentation and impact measurement.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business questions into tractable data‑science and experimentation problems.
• Conduct exploratory analysis, statistical modelling and hypothesis testing.
• Build predictive and inferential models that inform real decisions.
• Design and analyse experiments, including A/B testing and causal inference.
• Apply appropriate machine‑learning techniques with a focus on insight and impact.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Partner with ML engineers to productionise models when required.
• Develop metrics and measurement frameworks to support better decision‑making.
• For senior/lead positions: set standards, mentor junior scientists and lead cross‑functional initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong curiosity about the problems behind the data.
• Rigorous methodology, validation and reproducibility.
• Ability to convey complex results clearly to diverse stakeholders.

Required skills

• Python (pandas, scikit‑learn, statsmodels)
• R
• SQL and handling of messy, real‑world datasets
• Statistical inference, experimental design and causal methods
• Supervised and unsupervised machine‑learning techniques
• A/B testing and causal inference frameworks
• Experience with cloud or notebook environments
• Familiarity with ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow (optional)
• Awareness of large language models and generative AI for applied use cases
