Day Support Worker – Learning Disabilities (Full‑Time)

About the role

Join Glenholme’s specialist supported living service at Cecilian Court in Stamford as a Day Support Worker for individuals with learning disabilities. You will help service users live with dignity, independence and enjoyment while receiving full training and ongoing support.

Key responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support to service users.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene tasks.
• Teach and encourage independent living skills.
• Support medication management where required.
• Facilitate participation in community activities such as swimming, outings and leisure interests.

Required profile

• Kind, compassionate and patient with a good sense of humour.
• Willingness to learn and develop caring skills.
• Ability to work flexible day shifts between 7 am‑3 pm or 3 pm‑10 pm.
• No prior experience required; training will be provided.

Required skills

What we offer

• Hourly rate of £12.75‑£12.95, increasing to £12.95 after NVQ qualification.
• Paid Care Certificate and Level 2‑3 NVQ training.
• Up to £128 compensation for pre‑start e‑learning.
