Debt Recovery Paralegal – Commercial Litigation

About the role

Join a forward‑thinking, full‑service law firm as a Debt Recovery Paralegal within the Commercial Debt Litigation team. You will handle a diverse caseload of debt recovery matters from initial claim to enforcement, supporting clients throughout the process.

Key responsibilities

• Draft letters of claim and review contractual agreements.
• Profile debtors and assess the likelihood of recovery.
• Negotiate settlements and maintain regular client communication.
• Issue court proceedings, obtain judgments and manage enforcement actions.
• Maintain accurate case files, handle billing and produce regular reports.

Required profile

• Previous experience in debt recovery or related legal work.
• Strong organisational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Confident communication and negotiation skills.
• Capability to manage an independent caseload.
