Debt Resolution Officer

About the role

Richburns Ltd is seeking a proactive Debt Resolution Officer to deliver face‑to‑face debt resolution services for utility clients. You will work directly with customers to resolve outstanding gas and electricity balances, offering tailored repayment solutions in a fast‑growing, supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Visit customer premises to discuss outstanding gas and electricity balances.
• Assess individual circumstances, gather relevant information and propose fair repayment or resolution options.
• Record outcomes accurately using handheld technology and ensure compliance with authorised actions.
• Provide clear information, sign‑posting and support while maintaining high standards of customer care and brand representation.

Required profile

• Proactive, detail‑oriented and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, field‑based environment.
• Excellent communication skills to engage customers face‑to‑face and negotiate sustainable solutions.
• Clean full driving licence, own insured vehicle and willingness to undergo DBS and credit checks.
