Defence Engineer – Hybrid, Bristol

About the role

Allan Webb is seeking experienced Defence Engineers to join its Bristol office on a hybrid basis. You will work on high‑profile defence programmes across land, sea and air, delivering support solutions for complex systems and contributing to the company’s reputation for technical excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Provide systems‑engineering expertise to design, develop and sustain defence solutions.
• Support Ministry of Defence (MOD) frameworks and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on high‑visibility projects for government and commercial clients.
• Deliver technical documentation, risk assessments and performance analyses.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation within the engineering consultancy.

Required profile

• Proven experience in defence engineering or related sectors.
• Strong background in systems engineering and MOD support processes.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of an agile, hybrid team.
• Commitment to ethical practice, sustainability and social responsibility.
