Delegated Underwriting Authority Analyst (DUA)

About the role

We are partnering with a respected London market broker to find a Delegated Underwriting Authority (DUA) Analyst. This hybrid role combines technical underwriting expertise with data analysis to optimise binder operations, bordereaux management and portfolio reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage new and renewal binders, endorsements and related documentation.
• Review and validate Lloyd's 5.2 compliant bordereaux.
• Investigate and resolve technical Velonetic processing queries.
• Collaborate with Coverholders, brokers and Managing Agents to ensure efficient placement and compliance.
• Produce Power BI dashboards and portfolio analysis for senior leadership.
• Support binder performance analysis, profit commission calculations and renewal strategy.
• Drive automation and API integration projects to improve data quality and operational efficiency.
• Act as a technical subject‑matter expert and mentor junior DUA team members.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Delegated Authority or Binder Operations within the London market.
• Strong understanding of Lloyd's Delegated Authority processes and reporting standards.
• Analytical mindset with a passion for process improvement.
