Delivery Driver Assistant

About the role

Join Dreams' delivery service team as a Delivery Driver Assistant. You will work alongside a driver in a 3.5‑tonne van, delivering mattresses, sofa beds and other bedroom furniture to customers across the North West.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the driver in loading, unloading and transporting goods safely.
• Deliver and install bedroom furniture, including assembling beds and mattress bases in customers' homes.
• Provide a friendly, customer‑first experience during each visit.
• Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the delivery vehicle.
• Report any delivery issues or damages promptly.

Required profile

• People‑first attitude with a passion for customer service.
• Comfortable interacting with customers and representing the Dreams brand.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy goods.
• Flexible availability, including alternate Saturdays (no Sundays).

Required skills

What we offer

• £13.09 per hour plus discretionary monthly bonus.
• 38.75‑hour contract with regular Saturday shifts.
• Training to become an A* assembler for on‑site furniture assembly.
