Delivery Driver & Warehouse Technician

About the role

Our client, a specialist equipment supplier based in Uxbridge, is looking for a reliable Delivery Driver & Warehouse Technician. The role combines driving a company‑provided Luton electric van with hands‑on warehouse duties, ensuring equipment reaches customers safely and on time while maintaining high standards of service.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and collect goods using a Luton electric van, adhering to health and safety procedures.
• Act as a professional ambassador when visiting client sites, providing excellent customer service.
• Plan and optimise delivery routes to meet scheduled timings.
• Load, unload, pick, pack and prepare orders for dispatch.
• Receive, inspect and process incoming deliveries.
• Maintain organised warehouse storage and stock locations.
• Complete delivery documentation and basic stock‑control records.
• Carry out daily vehicle inspections and report any defects.
• Support general warehouse operations as required.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points).
• Experience driving Luton vans or similar light commercial vehicles is advantageous.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, distribution or stores environment.
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
• Good organisational ability and attention to detail.
• Team‑oriented with a proactive work ethic.

Required skills

• Forklift Counterbalance Licence (training may be provided).
