Delivery & Installation Technician

About the role

We are currently recruiting for a Delivery & Installation Technician to join an established organisation near Guildford, Surrey. This varied, hands‑on role involves driving, deliveries, installations and collections across Surrey, with full training provided for the right candidate who enjoys practical work and high‑level customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Driving a company van to locations across Surrey
• Delivering and collecting a range of items
• Installing items at customer locations
• Loading and unloading goods, including heavier items
• Carrying out basic installations, with some servicing and repair work where required
• Using basic DIY skills as part of installation work
• Providing excellent customer service while out on the road
• Participating in an out‑of‑hours and weekend rota

Required profile

• Previous relevant experience would be beneficial, although full training will be provided
• A full UK driving licence held for a minimum of 3 years, with no more than 6 points
• Previous van driving experience would be beneficial
• Comfortable with a physically active role, including loading and unloading
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Basic DIY skills would be advantageous
• Reliable, hardworking and comfortable working independently
