Delivery Manager

About the role

Booker Group is seeking a Delivery Manager to lead a delivery team at one of its locations. You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery operation runs efficiently, safely and in line with legal requirements while delivering the highest level of customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the delivery team to achieve operational targets.
• Ensure the branch trades efficiently, safely and within legal constraints.
• Manage delivery costs and customer charges to meet agreed targets.
• Identify and implement efficiency improvements to minimise payroll and other expenses.
• Monitor local market conditions and adapt the service offering accordingly.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing warehouse or transport operations.
• Strong track record of developing and challenging teams to improve performance.
• Ability to maintain high customer satisfaction standards.
• Understanding of legal and safety requirements in delivery services.
