Delivery Manager

About the role

We’re partnering with a leading technology organisation to appoint an experienced Delivery Manager for a permanent position based on‑site in Gloucester. This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished delivery professional to lead complex infrastructure and platform projects within a highly technical, secure environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, manage and deliver projects or workstreams against agreed scope, schedule, cost, quality and governance requirements.
• Lead infrastructure and platform deliveries within a highly technical environment.
• Coordinate project teams and resources, ensuring responsibilities, priorities and dependencies are clearly understood.
• Monitor delivery performance and take corrective action where required.
• Identify and manage risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies and change.
• Maintain accurate project plans, forecasts, dashboards, governance packs and supporting documentation.
• Build trusted relationships with customers, suppliers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
• Lead project meetings, reviews and governance forums, ensuring decisions, actions and escalations are recorded and progressed.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Delivery Manager leading complex technical projects or workstreams.
• Degree or equivalent practical experience in project management, engineering, science, technology or a related discipline.
• Recognised project management qualification (e.g., APM PFQ, PRINCE2 Foundation, AgilePM Foundation).
• Experience delivering infrastructure and/or platform projects against time, cost, scope and quality targets.
• Strong knowledge of project lifecycles, planning, budgeting, governance, risk and issue management, change control and quality management.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing demands.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across customers, suppliers and senior stakeholders.
• Valid eDV security clearance.
