Delivery Manager – Lead Efficient Delivery Operations

About the role

Booker Group is seeking a Delivery Manager to lead a team that ensures the delivery department operates efficiently, safely and within legal constraints while delivering the highest standards of customer service. You will be based at one of our delivery locations and will play a pivotal role in shaping the performance of the branch.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the delivery team to achieve operational efficiency and safety targets.
• Manage delivery costs and customer charges to meet agreed financial objectives.
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce payroll and operational expenses.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all delivery activities.
• Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction and service quality.
• Analyse the local market to adapt strategies and meet regional demands.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a manager in warehouse or transport environments.
• Demonstrated ability to motivate, develop and challenge a team.
• Strong commitment to customer happiness and operational excellence.
• Experience working in a delivery or logistics setting is essential.
