Delivery Postie with Driving – Fixed Term (9 months)

About the role

Join Royal Mail as a Delivery Postie with driving responsibilities on a 9‑month fixed‑term contract. You will work 30 hours per week across four days, with occasional Saturday and Sunday shifts, delivering mail and parcels to the Bournemouth community.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, sort and deliver mail and parcels on assigned routes.
• Drive a company vehicle safely, adhering to all road regulations.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and report any issues.
• Provide friendly, courteous service to customers and represent the brand positively.

Required profile

• Upbeat, independent and self‑motivated.
• Organised, punctual and committed to excellent customer service.
• Comfortable walking long periods and working outdoors in any weather.
• Strong sense of community and pride in the role.

Required skills

• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
