Delivery Postie with Driving – Fixed Term

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Delivery Postie with a full UK manual driving licence to join Royal Mail on a 9‑month fixed‑term contract at our Radstock Delivery Office. You will deliver mail and parcels to the local community, working a varied schedule that includes weekdays and occasional Sundays.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver letters, parcels and other items to customers within the assigned route.
• Walk long distances and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Adhere to delivery schedules, including shifts between 07:00‑16:00 on weekdays and occasional Sunday shifts 11:30‑18:30.
• Provide friendly, face‑to‑face service and represent Royal Mail positively in the community.

Required profile

• Upbeat, independent and self‑motivated.
• Organised, punctual and committed to excellent customer service.
• Enjoy walking for long periods and working outdoors.
• Strong sense of community and pride in the role.
• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than six penalty points.

Required skills

• Valid UK manual driving licence (≤6 penalty points).
