Delivery Postie with Driving – Fixed‑Term (9‑month) Role

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Delivery Postie to join our Taunton office on a nine‑month fixed‑term contract. You will deliver letters and parcels across the local community, working a varied schedule that includes weekdays and occasional Sundays.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, sort and deliver mail and parcels to residential and business addresses within the assigned route.
• Adhere to the delivery timetable, including Monday‑Saturday 08:00‑15:30 and Sunday 13:00‑20:30 on a rotating basis.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and any issues encountered.
• Ensure the vehicle and equipment are kept clean and safe.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service to recipients.

Required profile

• Upbeat, independent and self‑motivated.
• Organised, punctual and committed to excellent customer service.
• Comfortable walking long periods and working outdoors in any weather.
• Strong sense of community and pride in the role.
• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than six penalty points.
