Delivery Postie with Driving – Fixed‑Term (Bristol)

About the role

Join Royal Mail as a Delivery Postie in Bristol, working on a nine‑month fixed‑term contract. You will deliver mail and parcels across the local community, driving a company vehicle and walking routes in all weather conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver letters, parcels and other items to residential and business addresses.
• Operate a company vehicle safely, adhering to the UK manual driving licence requirements.
• Walk long routes and work outdoors, regardless of weather.
• Follow a rotating schedule that includes occasional Sundays.

Required profile

• Upbeat, independent and self‑motivated.
• Organised, punctual and committed to excellent customer service.
• Enjoy interacting with the community and being a friendly face.
• Comfortable walking for long periods and working outdoors.
• Possess a full UK manual driving licence with no more than six penalty points.
