Delivery Postie with Driving – Part‑time (24h/week)

About the role

Join Royal Mail as a part‑time Postperson with Driving, delivering mail and parcels to the local community in Windermere. You will work 24 hours a week across four days, primarily between 08:00 and 15:30, with occasional later shifts during peak periods.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, sort and deliver letters, parcels and other items to residential and business addresses.
• Walk for extended periods and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Adhere to a regular schedule of 4 working days per week, with flexibility for occasional 12:00‑18:00 shifts during the Christmas peak.
• Provide friendly, reliable service and act as a positive face of the community.

Required profile

• Upbeat, independent and self‑motivated.
• Organised, punctual and committed to excellent customer service.
• Enjoy interacting with people and have a strong sense of community.
• Comfortable walking long distances and working outdoors in any weather.
• Hold a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
