Delivery Postie with Driving – Part‑time (30h/week)

About the role

Join Royal Mail as a Delivery Postie with driving responsibilities, working 30 hours per week across Monday to Saturday and occasional Sundays. You will deliver letters, parcels and other items to homes and businesses in the Langport and Taunton areas, representing the postal service in the community.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, sort and deliver mail and parcels on assigned routes.
• Drive a company vehicle safely, adhering to all road regulations.
• Walk long distances and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Follow the local rota for Saturday and Sunday shifts.
• Provide friendly, reliable service to customers.

Required profile

• Upbeat, independent and self‑motivated.
• Organised, punctual and customer‑focused.
• Enjoy interacting with the community and delivering a high level of service.
• Comfortable walking for extended periods and working outdoors.
• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than six penalty points.
