Delivery Postie with Driving – Part‑time (Margate)

About the role

Join Royal Mail as a Delivery Postie with driving responsibilities, working 35 hours per week across Monday to Sunday in Margate and occasional Sundays in Ramsgate. You will be the friendly face that brings mail, parcels and important documents to homes and businesses, rain or shine.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver letters, parcels and other items to customers within the assigned area.
• Drive a company vehicle safely, adhering to a full UK manual licence requirements.
• Walk long distances and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Follow a rota that may include one Sunday in six.
• Maintain punctuality and professional customer service at every doorstep.

Required profile

• Upbeat, independent and self‑motivated.
• Organised, punctual and committed to excellent customer service.
• People‑oriented with a strong sense of community.
• Comfortable walking for extended periods and working outdoors.
• Holder of a full UK manual driving licence with no more than six penalty points.
