About the role

Join Royal Mail as a Delivery Postperson with Driving, based in Billingshurst, to help keep the nation moving. You will deliver letters, parcels and important documents to homes and businesses across the local community, working in all weather conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, sort and deliver mail and parcels on a set route.
• Drive a company vehicle safely, adhering to traffic regulations and company policies.
• Meet daily delivery targets while providing friendly, professional customer service.
• Work flexible hours, including Saturdays and Sundays as required by the rota.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and report any issues promptly.

Required profile

• Upbeat, independent and self‑motivated.
• Organised, punctual and committed to excellent customer service.
• Enjoy walking long periods and working outdoors in any weather.
• Strong sense of community and pride in the role.
• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than six penalty points.
