Delivery Van Driver – Full‑time Grocery Deliveries

About the role

Join our client’s grocery delivery team as a Delivery Van Driver, transporting fresh groceries to customers’ homes across Carlisle. You’ll work on planned routes, ensuring timely and safe deliveries while representing the brand with professionalism.

Key responsibilities

  • Load customer orders into the van and verify items before departure.
  • Follow assigned routes to deliver groceries safely and on time.
  • Provide courteous, professional customer service during each delivery.
  • Confirm deliveries, obtain signatures where required, and handle any delivery documentation.

Required profile

  • Physically fit and able to lift up to 25 kg.
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Full UK driving licence held for at least one year, with no penalty points and no disqualification in the past year.
  • Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.
