Demand Controller – Europe

About the role

Lubrizol is looking for a Demand Controller to ensure short‑term demand signals are accurate, stable, and transparent across Europe. You will work in a hybrid setting, collaborating with sales, supply chain, and production teams to drive operational execution.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accuracy and stability of 2‑12 week demand forecasts.
• Analyze customer forecasts and sales orders to create a unified near‑term demand view.
• Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Production Scheduling to align constrained demand plans.
• Identify risks and opportunities by monitoring demand patterns and providing data‑driven updates.
• Track execution metrics such as demand stability, plan adherence, and weekly demand changes.
• Communicate demand shifts, risks, and order changes that affect longer‑term planning.
• Provide visibility into customer demand behavior, including late orders, cancellations, and unusual patterns.
• Maintain up‑to‑date demand data in ERP and planning systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Finance or a related analytical field.
• 2+ years of experience in demand planning, supply chain analysis, or similar data‑driven roles in a regional or global environment.
• Experience working with sales orders, customer forecasts, and short‑term demand‑supply coordination.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Proactive, accountable, and able to manage competing priorities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross‑functional teams.
• Full proficiency in English; additional European language is a plus.
