Demand Planner – Production & Forecasting

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Demand Planner to own production planning, demand forecasting and inventory control for a growing manufacturing business. You will bring structure and visibility to a function currently managed through spreadsheets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using sales history, customer requirements and market trends.
• Create and manage production schedules to ensure on‑time delivery of customer orders.
• Monitor stock levels, secure material availability and mitigate potential shortages.
• Analyse production capacity, identify bottlenecks and work with operations to improve efficiency.
• Coordinate between Sales, Production, Purchasing and Senior Leadership, facilitating planning meetings and clear communication.
• Design and implement robust planning processes, KPIs and reporting to drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Production Planning, Demand Planning or Supply Chain Planning within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of forecasting, capacity planning and inventory management.
• Excellent analytical abilities and communication skills.
