Dental Nursing Assessor (Remote) – Manchester

About the role

Harriet Ellis Recruitment Group is seeking a qualified Dental Nursing Assessor to mentor and support apprentices undertaking the Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing (City & Guilds). The role is home‑based, allowing you to manage a caseload of apprentices across the Manchester area while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Provide guidance, encouragement and mentorship to dental nursing apprentices.
• Assess apprentice progress against City & Guilds standards and the Level 3 Diploma curriculum.
• Maintain a caseload of apprentices, ensuring timely feedback and support.
• Collaborate with the internal team to develop assessment materials and training resources.
• Work independently while contributing to a remote team environment.

Required profile

• Qualified dental nurse with current registration.
• Assessor qualification or proven experience assessing dental nursing apprentices.
• Ability to work autonomously and use initiative in a remote setting.
• Strong communication skills for effective mentorship.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing (City & Guilds).
• Familiarity with assessment and appraisal techniques for dental nursing.
