Depot Manager

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Depot Manager to lead our construction hire depot in Portsmouth. You will own the branch’s performance, drive profitability and ensure the fleet and team operate to the highest standards.
Key responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction to depot staff.
- Deliver operational and commercial performance, meeting budget and P&L targets.
- Maintain fleet condition and allocate equipment efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and legal requirements.
- Oversee recruitment, training and development of the team.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a Branch, Depot or General Manager.
- Background in Plant Hire, Tool Hire, Powered Access or Construction Rental.
- Strong leadership and managerial capabilities.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
