Deputy Accommodation Manager

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate and proactive Deputy Accommodation Manager to lead our supported accommodation services for young people aged 16‑25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Based in North Tyneside, you will help create a safe, positive environment where vulnerable youth can thrive.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety of clients, staff, visitors and volunteers through regular risk assessments and compliance with the Health and Safety Policy.
• Liaise with internal departments such as Finance, HR, Quality, Compliance, Fundraising, Communications and Business Development to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Manage local project budgets and oversee effective housing management.
• Maintain strong relationships with commissioners, stakeholders and delivery partners, including regular meetings.
• Deliver high‑quality support to young people and uphold safeguarding standards.

Required profile

• Proven management experience, including supervising teams.
• Experience supporting vulnerable young people and strong safeguarding knowledge.
• Confidence in risk management, housing support and partnership working.
• Proactive problem‑solver with a commitment to outstanding outcomes.
