Deputy General Manager – Contract Catering

About the role

This senior operational leadership position supports the General Manager of a high‑profile tech campus in London. You will oversee a multi‑outlet contract catering operation, ensuring seamless daily service across restaurants, cafés, barista stations and pantry services.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in running multiple food and beverage outlets.
• Lead a team of approximately 80 staff across front‑ and back‑of‑house functions.
• Maintain commercial performance, budget adherence and service quality.
• Drive innovation in the catering offer and enhance the guest experience.
• Own all people‑related activities: recruitment, development, performance management and culture building.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in contract catering.
• Experience managing multi‑outlet operations.
• Strong commercial and budget awareness.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop large teams.
• Comfortable in a fast‑paced, client‑facing environment.
