Deputy Head of PPC

About the role

We are a fast‑growing performance marketing agency seeking a Deputy Head of PPC to support the Head of PPC in leading our paid media function. This senior leadership position will shape strategy, manage key client accounts and drive the continued growth of our paid media services across a diverse portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategy across key PPC accounts on Google Ads and Microsoft Ads.
• Oversee performance across Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Display and YouTube campaigns.
• Own high‑value client relationships and ensure campaign performance meets targets.
• Support and mentor PPC Executives and Managers.
• Contribute to new‑business pitches and strategic proposals.
• Drive innovation through automation, AI and performance optimisation.
• Ensure campaigns deliver strong commercial outcomes such as leads, revenue and ROAS.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in PPC or paid‑media roles.
• Strong expertise in Google Ads and Microsoft Ads.
• Proven track record managing large‑budget, performance‑driven campaigns.
• Confident in client‑facing and stakeholder‑management situations.
• Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members.
• Commercial mindset focused on business outcomes rather than platform metrics.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced agency environment.
• Understanding of wider digital channels including SEO, Paid Social and CRO.
