Deputy Locality Manager – Adult Care Services

About the role

The Deputy Locality Manager will support the Locality Manager in delivering high‑quality day services for adults with learning disabilities and other support needs across East Hertfordshire. Working across multiple sites, you will help ensure compliance, financial stability and a positive experience for service users.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the multi‑site day service.
• Monitor quality and ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
• Assist with budgeting, financial reporting and resource allocation.
• Provide hands‑on supervision and leadership to staff.
• Travel regularly between Cheshunt, Hoddesdon and Ware to support sites.

Required profile

• Motivated, energetic and able to lead through change.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience in adult care or social care environments.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across the council.
