Deputy Manager – Non‑Clinical (Care Home)

About the role

We are seeking a Deputy Manager (Non‑Clinical) to join the brand‑new Raemoir Manor Care Home in Banchory, opening Summer 2026. Working 44 hours per week at £16.50 per hour, you will support the Home Manager in delivering high‑quality residential, dementia, nursing and respite care.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Home Manager in day‑to‑day operations and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Oversee care delivery, staff performance and shift planning, including a rotation of every second weekend.
• Support internal and external audits, monitor quality indicators and drive continuous improvement.
• Provide visible leadership, mentoring and development for the care team.
• Step in as acting Home Manager when required, maintaining service continuity.

Required profile

• SVQ Level 4 in Health & Social Care (or working towards it).
• Proven experience in a senior care or leadership role.
• Strong leadership, team‑management and organisational skills.
• Experience with audit support, compliance and service standards.
• Medication administration and auditing experience.
• Professional, organised and resident‑focused approach.
