Deputy Manager – Pull&Bear Store

About the role

As the Pull&Bear Deputy Manager you will act as the General Manager’s right‑hand, driving store performance, commercial results and an inclusive team culture. You will lead across commercial, people, operations and customer priorities, stepping in to maintain standards and results when the GM is absent.

Key responsibilities

• Support the GM in achieving sales, productivity and profitability targets by setting clear priorities and tracking KPI‑driven actions.
• Maintain visual standards and brand DNA on the shop floor, ensuring a modern, easy‑to‑shop environment.
• Oversee daily stock flow, replenishment, stockroom organisation and compliance with security, cash and health‑and‑safety procedures.
• Lead the team on the floor, providing clear communication, regular feedback, coaching and inclusive recruitment.
• Plan and manage rotas, hours budget and productivity, adjusting quickly to changing trading patterns.
• Deliver a consistent, friendly customer experience, using observations and feedback to drive improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a fast‑paced, high‑volume retail environment at supervisory or management level.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to act quickly on the shop floor.
• Demonstrated people‑development skills, including coaching, performance management and inclusive hiring.
• Operational discipline covering stock, shrinkage, cash handling and compliance.
• Passion for fashion, trend awareness and understanding of competitors.
