Deputy Manager – Retail Operations

About the role

As a Deputy Manager you will help run a busy Aldi store in Bicester, driving sales and delivering an excellent customer experience. You will step in to lead the store when the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager are absent, gaining valuable management experience.

Key responsibilities

• Maximise sales and meet daily/weekly sales targets.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and product presentation.
• Control costs and improve operational efficiency.
• Order stock, manage inventory and maintain product displays.
• Train, coach and develop store team members.
• Take full responsibility for store operations in the absence of senior managers.

Required profile

• Strong commitment to delivering sales and service excellence.
• Ability to work autonomously and make decisions under pressure.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to take responsibility for store performance.

Required skills

What we offer

• Hourly rate between £14.75 and £15.72.
• Additional premium of £4.00 per hour while running the store.
• Full‑time permanent contract.
• Opportunity to progress into senior management.
