Deputy Manager (RGN) – Care Home

About the role

As Deputy Manager (RGN) at Guildford House Care Home, you will work closely with the General Manager to ensure a safe, person‑centred environment for residents. You will help drive high standards of care, compliance and commercial performance while supporting a compassionate team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide inspirational leadership and day‑to‑day management to the care staff.
• Ensure medication policies and procedures are followed and support medication reviews.
• Monitor each resident’s wellbeing, recognising and acting on any changes that affect care plans.
• Produce monthly audits, quality indicator reports and any other required documentation.
• Attend weekly clinical meetings and oversee clinical risk areas within the home.

Required profile

• Qualified nurse with a valid NMC PIN.
• Minimum two years’ experience in a managerial or senior nursing role within a care setting.
• Strong leadership, communication and the ability to respond quickly to changing priorities.
