Deputy Pensions Team Leader

About the role

Ashe Consulting is seeking a Deputy Pensions Team Leader to support the Pensions Team Leader in driving team performance and development. You will play a key role in ensuring that the team delivers high‑quality pension administration services while adhering to scheme rules and industry legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Pensions Team Leader in managing the personal development and performance of team members.
• Check and authorise team output to ensure compliance with pension scheme rules and current legislation.
• Allocate work, prioritise tasks and manage deadlines for yourself and the team.
• Provide guidance on complex pension queries and support problem‑solving initiatives.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and service standards.

Required profile

• Current experience as a Deputy Pensions Team Leader or Senior Pensions Administrator within the Third‑Party Administration sector.
• Strong leadership abilities and a logical approach to problem solving.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Professional qualifications such as APMI, DPA, CPC or equivalent are desirable but not essential.

Required skills

• Advanced technical knowledge of pensions administration.
