Deputy Piping Programme Manager – Nuclear New Build

About the role

Sizewell C is seeking a Deputy Piping Programme Manager to lead the Nuclear Steam Supply System (NSSS) piping programme during Phase 1, from financial close to the start of on‑site construction. You will shape delivery strategy, drive modern construction methods and coordinate across the MEHA, Civil Works Alliance and international partners.

Key responsibilities

• Support development and execution of the MEHA piping programme, covering design, procurement and spool fabrication.
• Contribute to programme delivery strategies, execution plans, schedules and cost estimates.
• Promote modularisation, off‑site manufacturing and other modern construction techniques.
• Ensure alignment of activities with strategic objectives and readiness for Phase 2 construction.
• Lead and coordinate complex workstreams with competing priorities across multiple organisations.
• Manage interfaces between MEHA, Sizewell C, Civil Works Alliance and external engineering partners.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in large‑scale nuclear or complex industrial piping projects.
• Proven ability to lead multi‑disciplinary programmes in a matrix environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Eligibility for BPSS security clearance.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Bristol or Manchester at least two days per week.
