Deputy Programme Manager

About the role

The Royal College of Psychiatrists is seeking a Deputy Programme Manager to support multiple quality‑improvement projects within its Centre for Quality Improvement. This fixed‑term maternity cover role will work across the ACP 360, MAEP and CAPSS programmes, helping to deliver online feedback systems and epidemiological research for mental health professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the Project Administrator and coordinate project teams.
• Develop, test and maintain online multi‑source feedback platforms.
• Manage project plans, timelines and data governance.
• Organise events, webinars and stakeholder meetings.
• Maintain and update project websites and digital resources.
• Provide administrative support to the CAPSS Executive Committee and other advisory groups.

Required profile

• Interest in multi‑source feedback, quality improvement and mental‑health research.
• Proven experience in project management within a health or research setting.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to undergo a Disclosure Barring Service check.
