Deputy Sales Manager - Hospitality

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic sales professional to join a leading hospitality group as Deputy Group Sales Manager. You will support the Group Sales Manager in driving group, MICE and event revenue across four unique properties in the Kingston area.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of sales strategies to maximise group, MICE and event revenue.
• Identify new business opportunities through market analysis and competitor insights.
• Source and secure group bookings across corporate, MICE, leisure and events segments.
• Manage and develop key client relationships to encourage repeat business.
• Assist with rate negotiations, proposals and contract management to ensure profitability.
• Coordinate site visits, client presentations and familiarisation trips.
• Collaborate with operations and events teams to deliver seamless group experiences.
• Represent the hotels at networking events, trade shows and industry functions.
• Support reporting, forecasting and sales performance tracking.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hotel or hospitality sales, preferably in group, MICE or multi‑property environments.
• Strong commercial awareness of local and international markets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Target‑driven mindset with strong organisational skills.
• Professional presentation and attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel between sites as needed.
• Experience supporting or managing a team.
