Deputy Store Manager – Retail Fashion

About the role

As Deputy Manager you will support the General Manager in leading the Sheffield Stradivarius store, ensuring commercial performance and an excellent customer experience. You will act on the shop floor, drive strong routines and step in to lead the store when required, maintaining high visual and operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support the GM to deliver store performance through clear priorities, floor leadership and consistent follow‑through.
• Use KPIs and store insight to take quick action and keep performance on track.
• Drive strong routines across stock flow, replenishment and stockroom organisation to maintain availability.
• Maintain high operational standards in security, cash procedures, health & safety and store cleanliness.
• Coach and motivate teams on shift, providing regular feedback and addressing issues early.

Required profile

• Experience in a fast‑paced retail environment in a supervisory or management role.
• Strong commercial awareness and confidence taking action on the shop floor.
• Calm, clear leadership style with the ability to motivate and align teams under pressure.
• Commitment to inclusive leadership, building engagement and developing others.
• Ownership and integrity – you follow through, take responsibility and lead by example.
