Design Engineer – Aerospace (3DEXPERIENCE/CATIA)

About the role

Accenture is seeking a senior Design Engineer to provide aerospace design support within a 3DEXPERIENCE/CATIA environment. You will create and maintain engineering data, support stress and structural analysis, and ensure designs are ready for manufacturing and production.

Key responsibilities

• Create, modify and maintain 3D models and 2D drawings using CATIA in the 3DEXPERIENCE/Dassault platform.
• Support design and stress‑analysis activities for aerospace structures, components or assemblies.
• Manage design data, revisions, configuration, approvals and release status within a PLM‑controlled environment.
• Assess engineering change impacts across design, manufacturing, assembly and in‑service phases.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Production and Stress teams to resolve design queries, non‑conformities and production issues.
• Prepare engineering evidence, analysis inputs and documentation for design reviews and technical investigations.

Required profile

• Experience in aerospace design engineering, preferably with aircraft structures or complex assemblies.
• Strong hands‑on capability with CATIA, ideally within the 3DEXPERIENCE/Dassault environment.
• Understanding of structural design principles, stress‑analysis inputs, load paths, materials and aerospace manufacturing constraints.
• Proven experience working in a PLM environment (configuration control, design release, revision management, engineering change).
• Effective communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
