Design Engineer – Medical Equipment

About the role
We are seeking a Design Engineer to lead the mechanical design of large‑scale medical equipment from concept through to manufacture. The position is based in Thame, Oxfordshire and offers the opportunity to become the technical expert within a global manufacturer dedicated to improving healthcare facilities.
Key responsibilities
- Perform mechanical design of structures for medical equipment.
- Collaborate closely with manufacturing to resolve engineering and production issues.
- Support the engineering team with project management, testing and quality approval activities.
- Work Monday‑Friday in a manufacturing environment, ensuring designs meet project timelines and standards.
Required profile
- Mechanical engineering background.
- Experience with CAD and design work.
- Hands‑on experience working with engineering teams.
- Ability to commute to Thame, Oxfordshire.
