Design Lead – London

About the role

As Design Lead, you’ll be at the forefront of our creative work – guiding design projects from concept through execution and ensuring every output is both strategically grounded and visually exceptional. You’ll collaborate closely with Creative Directors, Copywriters, Strategists, and Producers to bring ideas to life across content, digital, social, experiential, and traditional platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design direction across key projects, delivering high‑level conceptual thinking and executional craft.
• Own visual storytelling for brand identity, campaigns, social content, OOH, presentations, and experiential environments.
• Guide junior and mid‑weight designers, shaping processes to improve efficiency and output.
• Participate in creative reviews, providing constructive feedback that elevates work.
• Present design rationale to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring work stays on‑brief, on‑brand, and on‑time.
• Drive thought leadership on design and motion craft, pushing boundaries for what’s possible.

Required profile

• 8+ years of professional design experience in a fast‑paced agency or studio.
• Proven leadership ability and a portfolio demonstrating strong conceptual thinking, technical skill, and taste across brand, campaign, and digital design.
• Clear communicator who can present ideas and feedback effectively.
• Passion for mentoring junior talent within a collaborative, ego‑free team.
• Curious, culturally aware, and eager to explore new trends, tools, and AI‑driven design technologies.

Required skills

• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Advanced skills in Figma.
• Motion design (and 3D design as a bonus).
• Experience with design systems, typography, composition, and layout.
